The Bison 4-1/2 inch Heavy Duty Steel Fan Playground Basketball System with 48 inch Safe Play Area is the base configuration in Bison's Heavy Duty Steel Fan line, built around a 4-1/2 inch O.D. hot-dip galvanized steel pole with heavy 1-5/8 inch support braces that buries 48 inches into the ground.
The fan-shaped 54 inch by 39 inch backboard uses a 12-gauge steel skin with a white powder-coated finish, topped with Bison's BA39U Ultimate playground goal, a double 5/8 inch steel rim, and a No-Fail netlock system built to withstand years of unsupervised playground use at a school or park.
The complete system weighs approximately 275 pounds; facilities that want more room under the rim can step up to the PR55XL for a 60 inch safe play area on the same system.

Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
Warranty
The Bison 4-1/2 inch Heavy Duty Steel Fan Playground Basketball System with 48 inch Safe Play Area carries a 25-year limited warranty on the pole, a 10-year limited warranty on the backboard, and an unconditional lifetime replacement warranty on the goal.
