Description
The Bison 60 Inch Clear Glass T-Rex Sport Portable Basketball System is the clear glass version of Bison's T-Rex Sport portable line, an indoor competition system built for schools, gyms, and rec centers that want daily-use durability on a smaller footprint than the full T-Rex models.
A 60 inch by 36 inch clear tempered glass backboard sits on a spring-assisted counterbalance base that adjusts rim height from 10 feet down to 7 feet 6 inches without moving the base out of play position.
The padded 42 inch wide by 51 inch long base ties down 660 pounds of ballast, using 20 solid-cap concrete blocks supplied by the customer, inside a rear enclosed ballast box, bringing the total system weight to 1,510 pounds and giving a 50 inch safe play area at 10 feet, narrowing to 46 inches at 8 feet.
A BA32 breakaway rim and 2 inch thick vinyl-covered base padding round out the system, giving gyms a durable, competition-grade rim and a protected base for daily practice and game use.
Sizing the right T-Rex Sport configuration, and understanding how it fits alongside Bison's other portable systems, is where American Super Sports' experience with this category of commercial equipment helps schools and rec facilities before they order.
The system ships at approximately 850 pounds and folds down to 62 inches wide by 112 inches long by 76 inches high for storage.
Like the rest of the T-Rex line, this system is made in the USA at Bison's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska.
