Description
The Bison 72" x 42" Rectangular Steel Backboard is a heavy-duty steel replacement backboard built for school gyms, rec centers, and municipal courts that need a rugged board back in service without delay.
A 12-gauge steel skin rides over a 7-gauge support structure, with every edge safety-rolled to remove sharp edges and add rigidity, and the panel is finished in durable white powder coat with a regulation orange shooter's square. The 5" x 4" goal mounting pattern is built around Bison's own Ultimate pole structures, while still fitting Bison's 5-9/16 inch gooseneck poles and most other manufacturers' outdoor systems, so facilities have flexibility when matching it to an existing pole.
It weighs approximately 160 pounds and ships via truck freight, and it's backed by Bison's limited warranty, which steps up to a lifetime term when it becomes part of a complete Ultimate system.
Like the rest of Bison's lineup, this backboard is made in the USA at the company's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Please contact us at 972-954-5790 for a custom installation quote on any special requirements that include additonal challenges such as basements or stairs. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
Warranty
Bison 72" x 42" Rectangular Steel Backboard carries a 10-year limited warranty on its own, and that coverage extends to a lifetime limited warranty when the backboard is installed as part of a complete Bison Ultimate system.
