The Bison 72" x 48" Tall Unbreakable "XL" Glass Competition Conversion Backboard is built specifically to replace an existing broken 48 inch tall glass board, giving gyms and athletic facilities a like-for-like glass panel without reworking the rest of the court's structure.
Half-inch tempered glass sits in a polished aluminum extrusion frame with a glass cushioning gasket, backed by high-strength steel support that absorbs over 98 percent of the stress from goal contact, and because the goal mounts off that structure rather than the glass, everyday play and hanging don't transfer stress into the panel.
Bison now sells this 48 inch tall glass size specifically for replacement applications, reserving new installations and fan-to-rectangle conversions for its 72" x 42" BA42XLC board, which the company says reduces the risk of player injury compared to the taller size. A fire-impregnated bright white border and shooter's square finish the panel, which is pre-drilled for original Bison DuraSkin padding, sold separately. It weighs approximately 240 pounds and carries Bison's unconditional lifetime warranty.

Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
