Bison DuraSkin Indoor Backboard Padding is the bolt-on safety pad Bison first brought to the game in 1990, and it remains the design every other padding company has spent years trying to imitate, with more than 150,000 sets sold since it debuted.

The pad bolts directly to the board through eight 14 inch bolts rather than relying on adhesive, and its molded-in steel core sits inside a thick outer shell over a cushioned foam interior, so it holds its shape and position through years of players crashing into the base of the goal.

It fits any 72 inch wide glass backboard on the market, no matter who made it, and every Bison 72 inch board ships pre-drilled to accept it, while boards from other manufacturers may need field drilling before mounting.

Built for indoor gyms only, it's offered in 17 school colors, from Black and Scarlet to Vegas Gold and Columbia Blue, so a program can match its padding to team or school colors.

At about 12 pounds, it ships quickly and mounts in minutes.
