The Bison Heavy-Duty Basketball Playground System is the step up from Bison's Tough-Duty line for parks and recreation departments that want more backboard choice and a longer pole warranty, built around a heavier 4.5 inch O.D. galvanized pole available with either a standard 48 inch reach or an extended 60 inch safe play area.
Buyers choose the backboard: a 54 inch aluminum fan-shaped board, a 54 inch graffiti-resistant steel fan-shaped board, a 60 inch by 42 inch steel rectangular board, a 54 inch by 42 inch tempered glass board, or a 54 inch by 42 inch clear unbreakable polycarbonate board, paired with either a BA39U Heavy Duty commercial goal or a BA32 commercial flex goal for the glass and polycarbonate options.
A 48 inch direct bury ground depth with 2 inch arm braces keeps the backboard steady, and the BA39U direct-mount rim runs straight through the backboard to the extension arm plate for maximum support rather than stressing the board alone. Pole padding and backboard padding are both available for facilities that want added coverage.
With 48 to 60 inches of safe play area keeping the pole clear of the actual court, this system offers real player-safety improvement over shorter-reach playground goals, sized for parks and general recreational use.

Shipping Information for Bison Heavy-Duty Basketball Playground System
Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Please contact us at 972-954-5790 for a custom installation quote on any special requirements that include additonal challenges such as basements or stairs. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
Warranty
The Bison Heavy-Duty Basketball Playground System carries a 25-year limited warranty on the BA777 pole, a limited lifetime warranty on the BA475SS aluminum backboard, and Bison's unconditional lifetime replacement warranty on the BA39U rim.
