Description
The Bison T-REX Competition Portable Basketball System with ZipCrank Height Adjuster is Bison's T-Rex Competition platform ordered with a crank-style ZipCrank height adjuster in place of the standard extension-spring lever mechanism, giving gyms and athletic facilities a different way to raise, lower, and store the same competition-grade system.
Everything else follows the standard T-Rex Competition specification: a 72 inch by 42 inch glass backboard, an enormous 96 inch safe play area at a 10 foot rim height, and FIBA Level 2 approved construction that meets the standard college and high school programs expect from their competition equipment.
A padded 40 inch wide by 74 inch long base carries 1,000 pounds of ballast for a 2,350 pound total system weight, with the BA3180S breakaway rim mounted on a 4 inch square beam standing up to heavy daily use at the rim.
For storage, it folds to 76 inches wide by 160 inches long by 78 inches high and rolls on two front and four rear casters, making it manageable for a facility crew to move and put away between events.
Deciding whether the ZipCrank height adjuster or the standard lever mechanism is the better fit for a gym's staff and routine is a question American Super Sports fields often, and years of experience with this category of commercial T-Rex equipment help schools and athletic facilities land on the right configuration before they order.
Bison builds the T-Rex Competition, ZipCrank version included, in the USA at its Lincoln, Nebraska facility.
