Description
The Bison T-REX International Manual Portable Basketball System is the hand-operated version of Bison's largest T-Rex platform, sharing the same 128 inch safe play area at a 10 foot rim height as the Automatic model, 32 inches more than Bison's other T-Rex systems, but raised and lowered by hand and lever instead of a motor.
Bison positions manual control as the better fit where space around the system is tighter, since it doesn't require the added clearance and hardware of the motorized Automatic Base Control setup.
The 72 inch by 42 inch glass backboard sits on a padded 52 inch wide by 80 inch long base carrying 1,500 pounds of ballast for a 3,228 pound total system weight, with a 6 inch square beam, the BA3180S breakaway rim, and ten 8 inch by 2 inch casters, four in front and six in back.
The system is FIBA Level 1 and Level 2 approved equipment, matching the same competition standard as the Automatic model.
It folds to 76 inches wide by 204 inches long by 83 inches high for storage, and Bison advises against ever substituting a locally sourced part for any factory component that goes missing, is lost, or gets damaged.
Deciding between manual and automatic control on a system this large is a common question American Super Sports helps international-level programs and elite facilities work through, backed by years of experience specifying this category of commercial T-Rex equipment.
This system comes off the same Lincoln, Nebraska production line where Bison builds every T-Rex platform in the USA.
