Description
The Bison Tough-Duty 54 Inch Steel Basketball System is the steel-backboard entry into Bison's Tough-Duty playground line, built for elementary schools and general recreational play rather than competitive courts, though many families choose the same package for home use.
The package pairs a BA775 Tough-Duty pole, 3-1/2 inch O.D. galvanized steel with a 36 inch safe play area, a 36 inch ground bury, heavy-duty 1-5/8 inch diameter backboard braces, and zinc-plated hardware, with a BA495 fan-shaped 54 inch by 39 inch steel backboard finished in 12-gauge steel with a white powder coat, and a BA27 goal built around a 5/8 inch steel rim with 1/2 inch braces and continuous netlocks.
The 36 inch ground bury and 2 inch arm braces keep the backboard steady under daily play, and the BA27 rim mounts straight through the backboard to the extension arm plate for maximum support rather than relying on the board alone to hold up under a hard rebound.
Schools and parks departments that want extra coverage at the base can add optional BA700PP pole padding.

Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
Warranty
The Bison Tough-Duty 54 Inch Steel Basketball System carries a ten-year limited warranty on both the BA775 pole and the BA495 steel backboard, with a one-year limited warranty on the BA27 rim.
