Description
The Ironclad Highlight Hoops HIL664-XXL Fixed Height Basketball System is the goal for families with players who are ready for the real thing every day. Ironclad designed it for those who want a regulation tempered glass backboard but do not need easy height adjustment, so it is a great fit once the kids have outgrown a lowered rim.
It pairs a sturdy one-piece 6 inch, 7 gauge square post with a regulation size 42 inch by 72 inch backboard of 1/2 inch thick tempered glass, and a 48 inch offset from post to backboard for player safety. As a fixed height goal it delivers excellent rigidity and performance, and the breakaway rim and net flex when a player hangs on and then snap back.
Padding and Anchor Kit Included Free
As always with Ironclad, backboard padding and post padding are included free with the HIL664-XXL. The anchor kit for mounting the goal is included with every new HIL664-XXL as well.
Weather Shield Rust Protection
Ironclad's Weather Shield rust protective undercoat sits under a black powder coat finish, and the assembly bolts are stainless steel. The bolt-down post makes installation easy and allows the goal to be relocated if you move.
Ironclad Lifetime Warranty
Read the Ironclad Sports lifetime warranty on the Warranty tab and you will see why it gives families real peace of mind. Basketball related damage of any kind is covered, even from dunking and hanging on the rim. The coverage belongs to the original owner, is non-transferable, and applies to units installed at a single family residence, so the HIL664-XXL is a residential goal that is not warrantied for commercial use. Painted items carry a one year limited warranty on the coating and padding carries a one year limited warranty; vandalism, extreme weather and normal weathering or UV wear are not covered.
