Description
The Ironclad Highlight Hoops HIL885-XXL Fixed Height Basketball System is for the household of serious players who want regulation glass and a goal that does not move an inch. Ironclad made it for families who want a regulation tempered glass backboard without needing easy height adjustment, and it is the biggest of its Highlight Hoops fixed height goals.
It stands on a super stable one-piece 8 inch, 7 gauge square post, which Ironclad calls the largest in the industry, and carries a regulation size 42 inch by 72 inch backboard of 1/2 inch thick tempered glass. A 60 inch offset puts the post a full 12 inches off the court for extra player safety, and the breakaway rim and net give under a hanging player.
Padding and Anchor Kit Included at No Extra Cost
Ironclad includes the backboard padding and post padding free with the HIL885-XXL, so you can skip the padding shopping trip. An anchor kit is included with every new HIL885-XXL, so mounting hardware is covered too.
Outdoor Protection
A Weather Shield rust protective undercoat lies beneath the black powder coat finish, stainless steel assembly bolts hold it together, and the bolt-down post design makes installation easy and relocation possible.
Ironclad Lifetime Warranty Summary
The Warranty tab has the full Ironclad Sports lifetime warranty, and it deserves a read. For the HIL885-XXL it covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim. It is for the original owner, is non-transferable, and covers units installed at a residential location defined as a single family dwelling, so this goal is not warrantied for commercial use. Both the painted coating and the padding carry a one year limited warranty, and damage from vandalism, extreme weather incidents and normal weathering or UV exposure is excluded.
