The Ironclad Triple Threat TPT554-LG Adjustable Basketball System is made for the family turning the backyard into a home half court. Ironclad designed this Triple Threat unit specifically for backyard courts, giving it an extra-long 48 inch offset for faster paced play and a larger 60 inch tempered glass backboard.

That 48 inch reach from the backboard to the post leaves plenty of room to play underneath the basket and helps keep players from colliding with the pole. The post is one-piece 5 inch, 7 gauge square steel, extra rigid even when the dunk contests start, and the 36 inch by 60 inch backboard is 1/2 inch thick tempered glass.

From First Shots to Full Height

Kids of every age get a turn: the spring-assist crank takes the rim from 10 feet down to 5.5 feet, the lowest adjustment height Ironclad offers, and carries the weight of the backboard so it cranks up as easily as it cranks down. A rim height indicator shows the exact height, and the breakaway rim and net flex under a hanging player.

Padding and Anchor Kit Included

Ironclad includes post padding and backboard padding with the TPT554-LG, so your backyard court is padded the moment it is assembled. An anchor kit is included in the price too, so the mounting hardware is covered from day one.

Outdoor Tough

Weather Shield protection pairs a zinc galvanized undercoat with black powder coat paint, the assembly bolts are stainless steel, and the bolt-down design means the goal can be unbolted and moved if you relocate.

Know Your Ironclad Lifetime Warranty

The Ironclad Sports lifetime warranty is worth a careful read on the Warranty tab. On the TPT554-LG it covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, including dunking and hanging on the rim. The original owner is covered, the warranty does not transfer, and it applies only to goals installed for use at a single family home; it is a residential goal and is not warrantied for commercial use. The coating on painted items is covered by a one year limited warranty, padding by a one year limited warranty, and vandalism, extreme weather and normal weathering or UV exposure are not covered.
