SKU: TPT553-MD Ironclad Triple Threat TPT553-MD Adjustable Basketball System

The Ironclad Triple Threat TPT553-MD Adjustable Basketball System is the super duty driveway goal for homes where space is tight and the kids still want the real thing. Ironclad designed it specifically for driveways and tighter spaces, with a 36 inch offset that keeps the goal from reaching too far into the play area.

Its 5 inch one-piece post is 7 gauge square steel, extra rigid even under the heaviest slam dunk action, and the 36 inch by 54 inch backboard is 1/2 inch thick tempered glass for the kind of bounce you only get from competition-style glass.

Lowers All the Way to 5.5 Feet

This is where young families light up: the TPT553-MD adjusts from 10 feet all the way down to 5.5 feet, the lowest adjustment height Ironclad offers, so even the smallest players in the family can make a basket. The spring-assist crank carries the weight of the backboard, it cranks up as easily as it cranks down, and the rim height indicator shows the exact height every time.

Free Pads and Anchor Kit Included

Post padding and backboard padding come with the TPT553-MD as part of the price, so keeping players safe does not mean adding another item to your cart. The anchor kit ships with the goal and is included, so you are not shopping for mounting hardware separately.

Weather Shield Protection

Each unit gets a zinc galvanized undercoat topped with black powder coat paint, and stainless steel assembly bolts round out a goal built to live outdoors. The bolt-down post design makes installation easy and lets the goal go with you if you move.

Ironclad Lifetime Warranty Highlights

The TPT553-MD carries the Ironclad Sports lifetime warranty, and we recommend reading every word of it on the Warranty tab. Ironclad covers damage from any basketball related activity on this goal, and that includes dunking and hanging on the rim. Only the original owner is covered, the warranty cannot be transferred, and it applies only to goals installed at a single family residence, so this is a home goal that is not warrantied for commercial use. A one year limited warranty applies to the painted coating and to the padding, and damage from vandalism, extreme weather or normal weathering and UV exposure is excluded.

How low can the rim go? Down to 5.5 feet, the lowest setting in the Ironclad line.
