Description
The Ironclad Triple Threat TPT885-XXL Adjustable Basketball System is Ironclad's biggest and best Triple Threat, built for the family that is going all in on a backyard full court or half court. It combines an 8 inch post, a 60 inch offset and a regulation sized 72 inch tempered glass backboard just like the pros play on.
That 60 inch offset lets the post sit a full 12 inches off the court, helping keep players clear of it, and the one-piece 8 inch, 7 gauge square post is the largest in the industry according to Ironclad, solid as a rock even under the heaviest slam dunk action. The 42 inch by 72 inch backboard is 1/2 inch thick tempered glass.
Adjusts From 5.5 to 10 Feet
Even with a board this big, height changes are easy: Ironclad's spring-assist crank carries the weight of the backboard so it cranks up as easily as it cranks down, all the way from 10 feet to 5.5 feet, the lowest adjustment height available from Ironclad. The rim height indicator shows the exact height, and the breakaway rim and net flex under a hanging player.
Padding and Anchor Kit Included With Your Goal
Ironclad includes the post pad and backboard pad with the TPT885-XXL, so the biggest Triple Threat comes ready to protect your players. Every new TPT885-XXL also ships with its anchor kit included.
Built for Years Outdoors
Weather Shield protection starts with a zinc galvanized undercoat and finishes with black powder coat, the assembly bolts are stainless steel, and the bolt-down post design makes installation easy and relocation possible.
The Ironclad Lifetime Warranty, Explained
Read the Ironclad Sports lifetime warranty on the Warranty tab so you know exactly what is covered. It covers damage caused by any basketball related activity, dunking and hanging on the rim included. Coverage is limited to the original owner, does not transfer, and applies only to units installed at a single family residence, so the TPT885-XXL is warrantied for residential use, not commercial use. The painted coating and the padding each carry a one year limited warranty, and vandalism, extreme weather and normal weathering or UV wear are not covered.

Is the backboard regulation? Yes. 42 by 72 inches is the backboard size Ironclad cites for high school, college and professional play.
Can younger kids use it? Yes. The rim lowers to 5.5 feet with the spring-assist crank.
Prefer the ClearView backboard mount with no support bars behind the glass? See the Ironclad FullCourt FCH885-XXL. Replacement parts for the TPT885-XXL include the TPT-XXL backboard, TPT-32 flex rim, CRKACT-5 crank actuator, SPRCYLDR spring assist, BB88-PP pole pad and BB88-GP gusset pad.
