The Bison Super Max Portable Basketball Goal sits at the top of Bison's Max Portable line, built for colleges and top-tier rec facilities that want a game-day feel without a permanent installation.
Its 60 inch tempered glass backboard on a 50 inch safe play area is the largest backboard-and-play-area combination Bison offers in a portable system, with the same infinite goal height adjustment from 5 feet to an official 10 feet as the rest of the Max line.
The backboard comes with pad included, and the breakaway rim is built for the heaviest competitive use in the Max line. The extension distance from base to backboard runs 50 inches at 10 feet, 60 inches at 9 feet, and 68 inches at 8 feet, and because the rim mounts through the backboard to the structure behind it rather than to the glass, stress stays off the board even under aggressive competitive play.
Ballast is customer-supplied solid cement block, at least 600 pounds, fully enclosed in a padded ballast box, and DuraSkin padding covers the base, pole, and the bottom of the backboard in a choice of Royal Blue, Forest Green, Black, or Red, with other colors available when two units are ordered together.

The system ships at approximately 800 pounds without ballast and rolls on non-marking transport wheels, with a 42 inch by 50 inch base and stored dimensions of 64 inches wide by 139 inches long by 78 inches high; because of that weight, unloading requires a forklift, loading dock, or a four-person lift-gate delivery.
Warranty coverage spans the base, backboard, padding, and goal at different terms, and Bison builds this system in the USA at its Lincoln, Nebraska plant.

Shipping Information for Bison Super Max Portable Basketball Goal
Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Additional charges may apply based on the unique circumstances.
Warranty
The Bison Super Glass Max Portable System carries a five-year limited warranty on the base, a ten-year limited warranty on the backboard, a two-year limited warranty on the padding, and a one-year limited warranty on the goal.
