The Bison Acrylic Max Portable Basketball Goal is the value entry into Bison's Max Portable line, built for youth basketball programs, schools, and rec centers that need one system to grow with players across several seasons.
A 48 inch clear acrylic backboard sits on a 30 inch safe play area, with the same infinite goal height adjustment from 5 feet all the way up to an official 10 feet that every Max Portable shares.
A single lever handle lifts the system out of playing position for one-person moves, and at 10 feet it's low enough to roll through a standard 78 inch double door for storage. The extension distance from base to backboard changes with height, running 30 inches at 10 feet, 40 inches at 9 feet, and 48 inches at 8 feet, and because the goal mounts through the backboard to the structure behind it rather than to the board itself, the acrylic is protected from cracking during slam-dunk play.
Ballast is customer-supplied solid cement block, at least 600 pounds, fully enclosed in a padded ballast box, and DuraSkin padding on the base comes in a choice of Royal Blue, Forest Green, Black, or Red, with other colors available when two units are ordered together.

The system ships at approximately 640 pounds without ballast and rolls on non-marking transport wheels, with a 42 inch by 50 inch base and stored dimensions of 48 inches wide by 128 inches long by 78 inches high; because of that weight, unloading requires a forklift, loading dock, or a four-person lift-gate delivery.
Bison backs the system with multiple years of limited warranty coverage across the base, backboard, padding, and goal. This Max Portable system is made in the USA at Bison's Lincoln, Nebraska plant.

Self-Service Curbside Delivery
With curbside shipping, the freight company is not responsible for carrying the product into the building, unloading the package from the truck, or assembling your purchase. For heavier items, we strongly recommend you have the appropriate assistance available at the time of delivery. The freight company will notify you by phone to schedule a delivery date and time window. Typically, there will be a four-hour time frame for the delivery and someone must be home for the item to be delivered.
Lift Gate Service
This services adds a lift gate to the back of the delivering truck to assist in unloading the product from the truck and down to the ground level. Driver is not required to carry the product into your garage or home, nor assemble the product. You should have appropriate resources on location for getting the product into your home or business.
Garage Delivery
Freight company will deliver to your garage. If this option isavailable for this product, only select this service if it is a driveway of reasonable length and slope, otherwise additional charges will apply. Delivery zone must be able to accomodate the use a pallet jack from the truck to your garage with no obstacles and smooth surfaces the entire distance.
Installation Services
We have an extensive network of installers throughout the country that can assist you with setup and installation of your product. This is our white glove delivery service. Installation price includes first floor delivery, with easy access to the desired room. Warranty
The Bison Acrylic Max Portable System carries a five-year limited warranty on the base, a two-year limited warranty on the backboard and padding, and a one-year limited warranty on the goal.
